Isis is a Print Media BFA graduate from Treaty 7’s Alberta University of the Arts. In their work, Isis uses surreal illustrated prints, light/ shadow, and sculpture, to reflect on their lived experiences and memories informed by their Scandinavian and Kanienkeha:ka heritage. Through her visual narratives, her work is a record of how memory and experience marks the psyche and impacts their present within colonial structures. Their goal is to use their story to open conversation on silenced experiences.
